Registration is now open. Early bird pricing runs until Friday, 8 May 2026 and groups of three or more can access extra discounts. It is a simple way to attend with colleagues and save.
All attendees must complete the online registration form.

Workshop: Inclusive and Culturally Responsive Practices in Aged Care
The Inclusive and Culturally Responsive Practices workshop delivered by Benchmarque Group introduces participants to a range of skills focussed on providing safe, respectful, and inclusive support for older people from all backgrounds.
The workshop explores the importance of understanding Cultural Safety, culture, identity, communication, diversity, trauma and respect. Participants will learn how to build self-awareness, cultural knowledge and practical skills to provide culturally safe and inclusive care.
Delivered as an interactive skills-based workshop led by an experience and approachable trainer, our workshops provide a safe learning environment, with a strong emphasis on guidance and encouragement — no matter your level of experience.
Topics explore on the day include:
- Cultural Safety
• Culture and cultural identity activity based on the Ngurra-Kurlu framework
• Communication skills for culturally safe care
• Diversity, equity and equality
• Strategies for culturally safe, trauma-aware care
• Respectful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples
• Building culturally supportive workplaces

Facilitator: Mandy-Lee Noble
Mandy-Lee Noble is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and professional development facilitator who has worked predominantly with people living with psychosocial disability and dual diagnoses. Mandy’s expertise as a dietitian has been helping people who are transitioning back to the community to engage in health enhancing behaviours and connect with service providers that meet their individual needs. As a content creator and workshop facilitator Mandy supports health and support services organisations to build person-centred skills and develop intersectional approaches for engaging with diverse populations.

Cancellation policy
Please note payment is required at the time of registration via credit card (we are unable to accept AMEX cards).
Cancellations must be notified in writing to [email protected].
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may prevent you from attending. However, please note that any cancellations made from May 4 onwards (30 days prior to the conference) will be non-refundable.
At this point, full payment for your attendance has been made, and we are unable to recover these costs.
Delegates who, after registering, find themselves unable to attend the event are welcome to nominate a substitute and must inform Ageing Australia events in writing as soon as possible.
