Ada Cheng is the CEO of the Australian Nursing Home Foundation and has extensive experience as a social worker, holding a master’s degree in Community Management. She has played a crucial role in promoting innovative, high-quality aged care services in Sydney. Ada’s vision and creative strategies have significantly improved the outcomes of culturally competent aged services in Australia, contributing to the organisation’s impressive growth over the past two decades.

Ada participates in various initiatives to enhance the health and well-being of seniors at both national and international levels. She has spoken at key national and international conferences, showcasing her expertise in culturally appropriate care, dementia care, long-term care, and the use of geron-technology to improve seniors’ quality of life. In 2025, she was honoured as the Global Ageing Influencer at the 16th World Ageing Festival in Singapore. Additionally, she has made important contributions to the National Ageing and Aged Care Strategy for individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Ada also serves as a board member of the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW.
