Daniel is an experienced professional in the public policy, aged care, health and urban development sectors. Daniel has strong leadership skills and strategic experience gained working at senior levels of the Victorian Government, working closely with the private sector.
Daniel achieves results in a collaborative team environment, negotiating complex issues with diverse stakeholders including government, regulators, community stakeholders and the private sector. His analytical skills across policy, demographics, data, and economic trends give him a well-rounded understanding of commercial opportunities and risks. Daniel has excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders, as well as experience in public relations, digital marketing, and writing / editing.
In the property and development sector, Daniel has been closely involved with the creation and implementation of key reforms to the Victorian planning system, including the long term Plan Melbourne metropolitan strategy, zoning reforms (residential, commercial, industrial, retail), central city approvals, Precinct Structure Planning, land supply, and major infrastructure project approvals. Daniel has a detailed understanding of demographics and urban change in Victoria, and the long term trends facing our community.
