Douglas Bender is a Financial Aged Care Advocate with Darwin Community Legal Service (DCLS) as part of the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN). A proud Darwin resident for over 20 years, he has raised his family in the Territory and built strong ties within the community. Douglas is dedicated to empowering older people to understand their rights and access the support they need to make informed decisions about their aged care and wellbeing.
