Elena Allen is a Lecturer in Rural Work Integrated Learning (Nursing) at the University of Tasmania and a PhD student undertaking doctoral studies also with the University of Tasmania in the Aged Care area.

Her professional background includes, Chief Executive roles, across multi-sectoral disciplines including Acute hospital, Aged Care, Community, Mental Health, Health Call Centre and a range of complementary fields.
