Emma brings significant experience working across health and social services specialising in regulation, program implementation and policy design. She has over 10 years’ experience in senior roles in the Australian Public Service, including in the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, Department of Social Services, and joined the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission in 2019. She has held corporate leadership roles and brings expertise in organisational change and capability building. She has a strong interest in regulatory strategy and design, with a focus on modernising regulations to achieve better outcomes for older people and the wider community. Emma has a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons) from the University of NSW.
