Care minutes – the challenges of meeting compliance
Genn Carao is an experienced healthcare leader with over a decade of experience in aged care and operations. Currently serving as Regional Manager at Bethanie, Genn oversees strategic and operational performance across multiple sites in Western Australia, driving quality outcomes and fostering strong, values-based teams.
Prior to this role, Genn led major initiatives as Operational Support Manager and AN-ACC Operations Project Lead, where he played a pivotal role in implementing funding reforms and operational enhancements. His earlier leadership as Facility Manager and Residential Care Manager further reflects his deep commitment to resident-centred care and continuous improvement.
Genn’s aged care career began as a Care Worker and evolved through nursing, clinical and managerial roles. He brings a practical, team-focused approach to leadership and is passionate about creating supportive environments where residents receive quality care and staff feel valued and empowered.
