Janine Renna is the Director of Audit at the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, where she leads the national audit program to ensure high standards of care and safety for older Australians. With extensive experience in regulatory oversight, risk management and audit operations, Janine plays a critical role in strengthening the Commission’s capability to detect, prevent and respond to non-compliance in the aged care sector.

Janine brings over 18 years of experience across government and regulatory environments, with strong focus on driving evidence-based improvements in service quality, governance and accountability. Prior to joining the Commission, Janine held senior roles in State government, where she led large-scale audits, policy reform initiatives and sector wide reviews.

Janine is committed to safeguarding the rights, dignity and wellbeing of older Australians by promoting transparency and continuous improvement across the aged care system.
