Jayden Boundry is a proud Wadjak, Balardong, Yued, Wilman Noongar and Badimaya Yamatji man with strong family connections to much of the Southwest of WA.

Jayden is a cultural man and spends much of his time sharing culture with the wider community through Mirliny and his business ‘Ngalak Nidja’ which translates to ‘We are here’ in Noongar. This involves delivering Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremonies in the community and working closely alongside and under the guidance of his Elders. Jayden is a storyteller, traditional dancer, didgeridoo player, tool maker and cultural consultant who delivers cultural workshops to people from all walks of life.

Jayden is a qualified Noongar language LOTE teacher and currently works teaching Noongar Language and Cultural Studies classes in schools. Jayden is the author of ‘Noongar Boodja Waangkan’ and ‘Boodja Barna’, two introductory Noongar first words books published by Fremantle Press. In 2024, Jayden had his poem and short story featured in Charter Hall’s latest edition of the ‘Bringing us Together’ project. Jayden has played the didgeridoo internationally as well as in accompaniment of the Perth Charity Orchestra for two major productions and as solo artist for major sporting events on the roof of Optus Stadium. Jayden has also featured in voice overs and as a narrator for a number of major projects, including drone shows and storytelling features.

With a background in youth work, Jayden continues to provide advocacy and support for the younger generation in his everyday life. Jayden is a dedicated husband, father and uncle who is passionate about his family and creating opportunities for his community.
