Joseph was appointed CEO of Home & Community Care Ireland (HCCI), the national membership organisation for home care providers,  in September 2018. In that time, he has led the home care sector through the Covid-19 pandemic; successfully worked with the HSE (Irish National Health Service Executive) to establish a new home care Authorisation Scheme; and grown HCCI’s membership from 16 to 40 providers.  Home care workers now receive the Living Wage at minimum; a measure Joseph considers one of his greatest successes.  He also serves a Director of the Global Ageing Network (GAN) Board. Prior to joining HCCI, he worked at a number of the world’s leading communications consultancies and served as the national spokesman for the successful pro-gay marriage campaign in the United Kingdom throughout its duration from 2012 to 2013.
