Kate is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Three Tree Lodge, a community-based aged care provider in Lithgow, rural NSW.

Kate has been an active member of the nursing profession and aged care sector, representing a variety of advocacy organisations on working parties and taskforces, including serving as a member of the National Rural Health Alliance, a Director of the NSW Community Services and Health Industry Training Advisory Board (CSH ITAB) and as a member of the Technical Committee for the Aged Care, Disability and Lifestyle and Leisure Qualifications Review Project being undertaken by HumanAbility.  Kate is also a current a member of the NSW/Act State Member Council for Ageing Australia

Kate has a passion for aged care supported by a broad knowledge of the complex issues surrounding the sector, especially issues impacting on smaller service providers operating in regional rural and remote communities and on workforce attraction and retention.
