Strategies for sustainability of the aged care workforce – panel session
Kate is a registered nurse who has extensive experience in the aged care sector, having held a range of clinical, education and management roles in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Three Tree Lodge Kate was the principal of a consultancy business that provided a range of consultancy services to the aged care industry. Kate is currently a member of the NSW/ACT Member Advisory Committee for the peak aged care industry body Ageing Australia and represents the aged care sector on the National Rural Health Alliance. Kate holds a Diploma of Applied Science – Nursing, Diploma of Management and a Certificate in Gerontic Care.
As the Chief Executive Officer, Kate is responsible for the overall operational management of the organization ensuring the delivery of care and services are in line with our vision and values. Kate along with other members of the leadership team are responsible for implementing the strategic plan and provide monthly reports to the Three Tree Lodge Board on the progress of strategic activities.
