Layne Beachley AO is one of surfing’s greatest champions, with seven world titles to her name – including a record six in a row between 1998 and 2003. Inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2011 and elevated to Legend status in 2023, she has shaped surfing both in and out of the water.

Across a career spanning two decades, Layne won 29 world tour events and inspired generations of surfers with her determination, resilience and groundbreaking achievements. Beyond competition, she has shared her story with honesty and humility, mentoring young athletes through the Sport Australia Hall of Fame program and supporting numerous community and charitable initiatives.
