Diversity and inclusion: A foundation for quality care – panel session
Lorna O’Brien is an experienced healthcare professional with over 30 years’ experience across a wide range of clinical settings, including hospital and community health settings. Her qualifications of general and psychiatric nursing have given her a broad stroke of knowledge and experience in consumer care in many diverse facilities. Lorna has held the position of Director of Nursing at a private mental health facility and at Mission Australia. Lorna’s role currently focuses on supporting & educating care givers on ways of being able to deliver quality care that not only encompasses cultural diversity, but the rights of all humans is respected and cared for.
