Michelle has held senior leadership roles in both public (central and local government) and private sectors and has a deep understanding of sector membership organisations through her time as Chief Executive of Marlborough Winegrowers Association/Wine Marlborough Ltd, and as Executive Director of Natural Products New Zealand.

Michelle is responsible for setting the Association’s strategy and policy direction, as well as developing relationships with members, key stakeholders, government agencies, and the media.

A fellow of Salzburg Global, Michelle is also a member of the Institute of Directors and is currently serving as a trustee on the board of Greyhounds as Pets (GAP).
