Optimising dementia care in aged care: insights from allied health professionals
Naomi Moylan is an Occupational Therapist (OT) who has specialised in working with people living with dementia and their care partners. Naomi is currently working as a Dementia Support Specialist at Brightwater Care Group in Perth. Her previous role at Brightwater was as the Younger Onset Dementia (YOD) Project Coordinator and developed a YOD Model of Care incorporating and a multidisciplinary Allied Health Team and a Supported Independent Living Home. Prior to this role Naomi worked as an OT in private practice delivering the COPE program in the community and has worked in residential care. Naomi is a member of the OT Australia Aged Care National Reference Group, the Australian Dementia Network YOD Special Interest Group Executive and the Australian Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Executive Group.
