Paula is a political and policy specialist with more than 20 years working in the public sector.

She worked as a Chief of Staff and Senior Political Adviser for four Federal Government Ministers including a former Prime Minister, providing complex policy and political advice across many portfolios, including health, aged care, Indigenous health and social services.

Paula played an instrumental role in securing important funding for the age care sector and played a critical role in the establishment of the Aged Care Royal Commission.

Her career started with the Australian Federal Police in both operational and non-operational roles.

She was responsible for the delivery of all major projects across the AFP including work on the new AFP National Headquarters, building capacity within teams and the establishment of the Air Marshall Programme. She then worked in executive level roles with a number of government departments.

Paula now leads the Health and Ageing Practice, as well as the government relations team for H/Advisors ANZ and has done so 7 years.
