Richard is currently Chief Executive Officer of Scalabrini Villages and is keen to bring his range of experience and insights into supporting and leading transformation in the sector.

Precis

How do you respond when your core business is under threat of customer preference moving away from the services and operations that you provide?

If you are like Henry Ford (“you can have any car as long as it is black”) then you carry on doing what you have always done. If you are like Steve Jobs (the driving force behind the creation of new products through the amalgamation of different products or inventing new ones) then you re-evaluate everything that you do and you start running multiple trials to test new models and services.

Learn how this approach helped a medium sized organisation pivot away from being a RAC only provider, into testing and then launching new service lines and fundamentally challenging their re-development model to create alternative housing options for the elderly.

Understand the Scalabrini Villages value promise to customers and how this is provided, re-imagining what is possible in the provision of services and products to its customers.

Takeaways:
• Practical strategies for pivoting your business in response to changing customer preferences.
• The value of innovation in creating sustainable, multi-generational communities.
