Rob joined the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission in October 2025.
Rob brings over 25 years of experience across a range of regulatory environments, with a strong focus on enforcement and compliance. He has held senior roles at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), Australian Securities & Investments Commission, and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
In his more than 15 years at the ACCC, Rob’s senior executive roles included General Manager of the Cartels Branch and NSW Enforcement Office. More recently, at the OAIC, Rob led investigations into the large-scale data-breach investigations which resulted in the first Federal Court actions for privacy breaches of this type.
Rob brings extensive compliance and enforcement experience to the aged care sector, with a strong commitment to strengthening integrity, regulatory confidence, and outcomes for older Australians.
