Precis

As the aged care sector faces heightened regulatory demands and rising compliance costs, the question of how best to achieve growth becomes critical. This session examines two primary strategies: acquisition versus organic growth. Both approaches offer unique opportunities and challenges, and this presentation will guide aged care providers in making informed decisions to scale their operations effectively.

The content will cover:
– Drivers of Growth: Key factors pushing aged care providers to seek expansion.
– Acquisition Strategy: Pros and cons of acquiring existing facilities, including speed of scale, integration challenges, and financial implications.
– Organic Growth: Benefits and risks of expanding internally, such as maintaining control, slower pace, and potential for innovation.
– Comparative Analysis: A side-by-side evaluation of acquisition vs. organic growth, supported by data and case studies.
– Strategic Recommendations: Guidance on choosing the right growth path based on organiational goals, market conditions, and resource availability.
