Shannon has over 30 years’ experience in South Australia’s health sector, starting as an Enrolled Nurse in disability care. She later moved into sales and marketing roles with aged care software and consultancy providers, most recently as Head of Sales at Mirus Australia. Since joining Ageing Australia as State Manager in May 2025, she has focused on strengthening member support and advocacy across SA.

Adelaide-born, Shannon is passionate about her community. Her mantra, “If it’s to be, it’s up to me,” reflects her proactive approach, strong focus on resilience, and commitment to building connections, continuous learning, and meaningful conversations.
