The Hon. Bridget Archer is a proud Tasmanian, having moved to Ravenswood from southern Tasmania at an early age. As a hardworking local, Northern Tasmania remains home for Bridget and her husband, along with their five children on their family farm in George Town.

After graduating year 12, Bridget worked as an assistant curator at the Tasmanian Herbarium and in hospitality before attaining a Bachelor of Arts (English and Political Science) and a Graduate Certificate in International Politics.

Bass is a fantastic place to live and is fast establishing itself a centre for innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurship and Bridget is firmly committed to ensuring the region can reach its full potential. The electorate of Bass exemplifies the best place to live, work and raise a family.

With a proven track record of delivering for Bass in the Australian Parliament, and as a Councillor, Deputy Mayor and Mayor in Local Government, Bridget knows what it takes to ensure the community is afforded every opportunity for its success.
