Lisa Capamagian is a health technology specialist with over 20 years of experience driving innovation across the aged care and home care sectors. Her work focuses on the practical implementation of technology to improve care delivery, outcomes, and system efficiency.
Lisa spent 14 years with Tunstall Australasia, where she led and supported the rollout of large-scale telehealth and telecare programs across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, and Taiwan. During this time, she worked closely with governments, providers, and clinicians to embed technology into real-world care settings, helping organisations transition from traditional models to more proactive, connected approaches.
Opal Halliday
Queensland General Manager Community Services, St John QLD
Opal Halliday is originally from the UK and brings extensive experience across the Community Services sector working with vulnerable people in all aspects of life including Aged Care and Disability and volunteer led programs. Known as a people-focused leader, Opal is committed to meaningful impact, inclusion and strong advocacy for the communities she serves.
In her current role as St John Queensland General Manager Community Services, Opal is focused on strengthening financial sustainability, driving responsible growth and building diverse strategic partnerships. She brings a strong commitment to innovation - championing new service models, modernising processes and creating opportunities for improved client and volunteer experiences. Her people-centered leadership continues to shape the organisations positive impact across the community.

Victor is a recognised senior practitioner in aged care, retirement living and disability law. With over 30 years’ experience, he is a trusted legal advisor and litigator to his clients. He practises in the regulatory compliance and public law area, as well as litigation and prosecutions.
Victor has been recognised as a preeminent Health & Aged Care Lawyer in Victoria in the 2025 Doyle’s Guide listing. He also holds a Masters in Health and Medical Law and has been consistently listed by Best Lawyers Australia for Health and Aged Care Law since 2012 - including being named ‘Lawyer of the Year’ in Melbourne for Health and Aged Care Law (2014) and Retirement Villages and Senior Living Law (2023). Victor has been recognised in 2014 - 2025 for his expertise in Government Practice and in Retirement Villages and Senior Living Law in 2017 - 2025.

Simon was recognised for his leadership in 2020, being awarded the inaugural National Aged Services Young Leader of the Year by Leading Aged Services Australia.
Outside of his work in the aged care sector, Simon is interested in corporate leadership, change management, building stronger teams, cultural change, employee experience and facilitating innovation within businesses.

As General Manager of GOC Care and former CEO of Finncare, Alexandra has led significant organisational transformation, strengthened governance and clinical quality systems, improved financial sustainability, and guided organisations through major sector reforms.
Alexandra is passionate about consumer-centred care, building high-performing teams, and translating strategy into practical outcomes that honour the contributions of older Australians, ensuring those who came before us are supported to age with dignity, respect, and choice.
Roald Versteeg
Chief Policy and Advocacy Officer, Ageing Australia
Roald Versteeg is an executive with over 20 years’ experience in health-related government and non-government organisations, including roles in advocacy, policy, regulation, general practice education, practice and aged care standards, health and aged care funding, and government relations.
Roald is a fierce advocate for a quality and sustainable health and aged care system and joined Ageing Australia as the General Manager for Policy and Advocacy in January 2023.
At Ageing Australia, Roald is responsible for policy, advocacy, government relations and media.
Roald holds a Master of Health Economics.
Madeline Walsh

Madeline is a Partner in the Aged Care and Retirement Living team at Thomson Geer and a member of the Queensland Law Society Elder Law Committee.
Madeline acts for a wide range of private and not-for-profit aged care and disability service providers. She advises providers on their legislative responsibilities, risk management, compliance issues, commercial arrangements and clinical incident management.
