ITAC Awards now open
The ITAC Awards celebrate the ground-breaking contributions of individuals, organisations, and teams driving excellence and innovation within the aged care sector.
These awards recognise initiatives that transform the delivery of aged care, community care and retirement living services, enhance the quality of life for older Australians, and pave the way for a future impactful, sustainable sector.
With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and measurable outcomes, the awards aim to inspire others in the sector to think creatively and embrace transformative approaches to aged care challenges.
Awards categories

Technology transformation
Celebrating the development or implementation of cutting-edge technologies that revolutionise aged and community care service delivery, improve operational efficiency, or enrich the lives of older Australians.

Research and development
Highlighting projects and studies that advance knowledge in aged and community care, foster new approaches to service delivery, or address critical challenges.

Capacity building
Acknowledging programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of the aged and community care workforce or empower older Australians to live fuller lives.

Data insights
Recognising initiatives that leverage data analytics, predictive modelling, or insights to improve decision-making, enhance outcomes for the older person or streamline operations in aged and community care.
Nomination information
- All nominations must be completed via the online nomination portal
- Each nomination may only be submitted once, and the appropriate category should be selected.
- The judges may determine to move nominations to another category if it is decided that it fits
better under that theme. - Nominations may be submitted under an organisation, team or individual.
- Nominations from vendors must be in collaboration with an aged care provider. Nominations from vendors alone will not be accepted.
- Nominations should acknowledge the key individuals and organisations that contributed to the nomination.
- Finalists will be encouraged to attend the Awards Presentation Dinner to be held Wednesday 12 March 2025 at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne. Further information will be outlined in writing at the time of notification.
