Included in every full conference registration is a ticket to the Welcome Reception, Networking Drinks, and Conference Dinner.
If you are only attending one day of the conference, the evening function on that specific day is included. However, you will have the option to purchase tickets for other events.
National Conference Bursary Program Available
Everyone has a role to play in shaping the future of aged care.
The Ageing Australia National Conference Bursary Program supports professionals who may otherwise face barriers to attending, helping more voices from across the sector to connect, share ideas and be part of this important national conversation.
Bursaries are available for eligible applicants, including those from rural, regional and remote communities, smaller organisations and underrepresented groups.
Each bursary will include:
- One complimentary full registration to attend the conference.
- $2,000 per bursary towards the cost of travel and accommodation expenses related to attendance at the conference.
Who can apply
Applicants who work in the aged care, retirement living, or seniors housing sector and can demonstrate how attending the conference will benefit their organisation, community, or the broader sector. Priority will be given to applicants who:
- Have limited access to professional development funding
- Are from rural, regional, or remote areas
How to apply
1. Submit your application by Friday 18 September 2026.
2. Answer the following questions:
- What do you hope to gain from attending the National Conference?
Please describe your professional goals, areas of interest, and how attending the conference aligns with your role and commitment to the aged care, retirement living and seniors housing sectors.
- How do you anticipate your participation in the National Conference will contribute to your organisation, community, or the broader aged care sector?
Please outline the potential impact of attending, including how the knowledge, insights, connections or ideas gained may support improvement, innovation, capability building or positive outcomes within your workplace or the communities you support.
- How will you share and apply the knowledge and insights gained from the National Conference?
Please describe how you will transfer learnings to colleagues, your organisation, professional networks or the broader sector, and how you intend to translate conference insights into action.
- Please describe any barriers that may prevent you from attending the National Conference without bursary support.
This may include financial constraints, limited professional development funding, geographic location, travel requirements, organisational capacity, or other circumstances that impact your ability to participate

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be notified in writing to [email protected]. Any cancellations made within 30 days prior to the conference will be non-refundable. Delegates who, after registering, find themselves unable to attend the conference are welcome to nominate a substitute and must inform the Ageing Australia events team in writing as soon as possible.
Payment Policy
It is a condition that full payment is received within 14 days of receipt of the tax invoice or 10 business days prior to the conference, whichever occurs first. Delegates who have outstanding payments will be asked to make payment prior to the commencement of the conference and will not be admitted to the conference until payment has been processed. Upon initial registration, a Tax Invoice/Receipt will be emailed to the person making the booking.
